Who We Are |

| ALCA (Alliance of Cameroonians) is a
not-for-profit organization that was created in
2002. ALCA seeks to bring Cameroonians in
Toronto and Canada together and to create a
dynamic, friendly, and sensitized atmosphere in
order to: |
- Facilitate the integration of people of
Cameroonian descent into Canada
- Participate efficiently within the
Canadian society
- Exemplify the beauty of the diversity of
the Canadian society
- Promote leadership in the community
- Provide a forum for information exchange
- Promote and preserve the Cameroonian
culture
- Promote a safe and healthy environment
for children
- Sensitize the public to human rights
infringements issues affecting the African
community.
- Support humanitarian activities aimed at
improving living conditions in Cameroon
- Pursue humanitarian and other worthy
causes for the betterment of the motherland
of Cameroon, the African Community and the
Canadian Society.

| Over its short term of existence, ALCA has
embarked on its mission for the pursuit of a
better Cameroon and Canadian community and a
better world with humanitarian causes and
community enriching activities such as: |
- Rallying the Cameroonian Community and
making a substantial contribution such as
donating to the Canadian Red Cross to
support the Tsunami Relief effort
- Organizing food drive for food shelters
in the Greater Toronto Area
- Organizing inter-community soccer events
to promote unity amongst the diverse
communities in the Greater Toronto Area
